FEASABILITY STUDY OF ORGANIZATION OF MAKING OF FACILITIES OF EXTINGUISHING FIRES OF COMBUSTIBLE LIQUIDS ON BASIS OF FIRE EXTINGUISHING SALTS, IMMOBILIZED BY POROUS CARRIER

Abstract

The economic analysis of method of making of fire extinguishing facilities that are a porous carrier - shaving of wood is conducted, with adsorbed in pores by fire extinguishing salts. First of all such facilities are intended for extinguishing of fires of the combustible liquids poured out on large areas. The zone of burning in such cases is situated above the surface of liquid. To put out flame, it is necessary or to inflict fire extinguishing means on all surface simultaneously, or to use means that would cover the separate area of fire long time enough, sufficient for causing of him on a nearby area. Otherwise air-gas above the surface of liquid, just liquidated, will be set on fire by flame from nearby areas. In case of fires of the liquids poured out on large areas, it is impossible to stop burning with water, rare gases or Freon. Ordinary powder-like facilities of extinguishing of fires are useless here, because powders have a specific closeness, large specific closeness and water and, moreover, hydrocarbon liquids. As a result, powder operates only a few seconds. And then goes under the surface and leaves the zone of burning. In practice for extinguishing of such fires only airily-mechanical foam is used, that has a few defects and, first of all, from the ecological point of view. Unlike ordinary powders, means that is examined have bulk mass less, than specific closeness of water and hydrocarbon liquids. An easy porous carrier provides the permanent being of means on the surface of liquid, i.e. in the zone of her burning. Fire extinguishing salt desorbs under the action of warmth of fire and inhibits burning. Carriers that are used (arboreal shaving) ecologically harmless, and fire extinguishing salt (amoniyfosfat and diamoniyfosfat) are usually used in agriculture as mineral fertilizers and too it is not harmed an environment. Methodology of making of means consists substituting for air in the pores of carrier by solution of fire extinguishing  salt with the subsequent moving away of water drying. In case of the arboreal shaving, where the walls of pores are elastic, simply enough several times to squeeze a carrier in solution of fire extinguishing salt to release. The decision of question about expedience of making of new means of extinguishing of fire requires the economic analysis of aspects of his making that is conducted in this article.
