Abstract

The main dangerous factors that can lie in wait for employees of operational services of the settlement (object) during preventive or scheduled work and firefighters during emergency rescue work in confined spaces of underground utilities are considered, the analysis of providing fire and rescue units with modern rescue means and efficiency of already known ways of carrying out rescue works from the closed space of underground communications, the list of the basic measures of labor safety at carrying out rescue work, proposed for implementation and application by rescue services of the simplest and most effective for this type of rescue work rescue equipment, a way to put on rescue equipment in an enclosed space, transporting the victim both inside underground communications and lifting outside, also this rescue equipment can be used. carrying out emergency rescue operations in case of damage to buildings and structures, to rescue people from the upper floors.

While rescuing the victims from the upper floors of the damaged houses, two rescue firefighters on the upper floor fasten the ends of two rescue ropes. The free ends of the ropes are lowered. The third firefighter-rescuer pulls and secures the free end of one of the ropes at an angle of 45-60 degrees. The fourth firefighter-rescuer takes the free end of the second lifeline and chooses the position of the insured. Firefighters-rescuers, located on the top floor, put a cape rescue loop on the victim. A carbine with fixed loops 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 is attached by a firefighter to a stretched lifeline and passes a second rope through it, duplicating all connections with another carabiner.

During the descent of the victim, the fourth firefighter-rescuer slows down his movement on the stretched rope with the help of the second rescue rope. In case of necessity of repeated rescue of people, a cap loop together with carbines on a stretched rope If repeated rescue of people is necessary, the cap loop together with carbines on the stretched rope rises to height by pulling the second safety rescue rope.

Thus, the proposed rescue loop will allow to carry out rescue operations much faster and more efficiently due to the possibility of using it in confined spaces and will allow to lift (lower) victims in a vertical position from narrow wells of underground communications and from the upper floors of damaged high-rise buildings.

The proposed method and special equipment for rescue work from underground wells can increase the efficiency of rescuing victims, reduce the time of work, which can affect the ability to provide home care and save lives. Due to the simplicity of construction and the presence of the main components for the manufacture of the cap loop, it is possible to provide this equipment almost all fire and rescue units of the Central Command.
