Abstract

The research is devoted to the study of the issue of state regulation of medical care for personnel of the civil defence service in peacetime and wartime. Social and military emergencies affect not only civilians, servicemen, but also special services, including the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES of Ukraine), so high-quality medical care for Civil Protection personnel is especially important during this period.

The current regulatory framework, the rules of which determine the order of medical care in the SES of Ukraine, the organization of medical care, treatment and prevention work, also medical supplies were studies and analyzes in this scientific work. The importance and role of state regulation of medical care for members of the rank and file of the Civil Defence Service in peacetime and wartime are clarified. A comparative analysis of medical care in health care institutions of the SES of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was performed, in particular the categories of persons served in these institutions, the network of health care institutions, the regulatory framework of medical care, the network of sanatoriums treatment and medical and psychological rehabilitation.

The authors provided a number of proposals to improve the current legislation in order to improve the medical care of civil protection officers.
